For those who don't know me (yet), I grew up in Greencastle, then moved away for a time to attend college. While there, I met Carol, and following graduation, we married - and have been married for 38 years. We have two grown sons and three grandchildren. After living "down south" for about ten years, we moved to Greencastle in 1996 so that our children would have the opportunity to attend Greencastle schools and grow up in our small town.
My mother, Ruth Mowen, lived in Greencastle most of her life, and in her retirement years, she opened Upscale Consignment on Franklin Street. She and her beloved dog Autumn are both gone now, but they were happy to visit with anyone who stopped by to say hello or to shop.
